Try using an oil to loosen the paint
If you use acrylic paint for your furniture, you may want to try using an oil to loosen it up. An oil can help prevent the paint from sticking to the board.
Creating a base of softened acrylic paint is one way to get it off the floor. Some oils contain alcohol as a base, so try mixing equal parts rubbing alcohol and water to create the oil. Or use a very low percentage liquid varnish or lacquer that contains resorcinol, which can be dissolved in water.
Another method is to use a brush that is slightly hard and dried out completely, then sweep away with another brush.
Try using a dry scrubber brush

Also, if someone spills paint onto the floor, you do not want to just let it dry up and walk away because it is not going away! You must spread and apply the oil where needed so that it spreads and leaves a residue on the floor.
